RWC Reader Tara H. recently wrote in to let me know about a cool article (on the “Rodale’s Organic Life” website) that included the video above. It features time lapse photographs (every 10 minutes!!) of an experimental vermicomposting system over the course of 20 days! Really cool.
Be sure to check out the original article for an interview with the people who created the video:
This Time-Lapse Video Of Worms Making Compost Is Awesome
Thanks Tara!

Very interesting
My daughter did her 1st 4-H project on worms in 2015. She is going to expand the project for 2016 to show herbs grown in worm compost vs no compost material. I was just looking to find a better way to display worms at our 4-H fair. She used an opaque tub this year but wanted to know if using a glass fish tank might be better for displaying. We would cover the 3 sides to limit the light. Any suggestions.
Thanks
Dawn
Why a video of worms in sawdust when it’s supposed to be a bad medium?
