That's really cool, skoog! I'm surprised he would be able to get inside a stacking system like that!

I have had a happy-looking toad living in my multi-tray worm bin for about two months now. He just turned up one day, and I let him stay as he seems to prefer it to the New England winter. He is about the size of a quarter; I'm not sure of his species. He may be eating the worms--I haven't confirmed it one way or the other, but I haven't the heart to eject him. :) I haven't had any fruit fly problems, though!

Wow, what an idea. I've got lots of fruit flies, not in the worm bin, but in the kitchen. Can't seem to get rid of them. I might try this.

The spiders in my basement have the fruit fly population down to a minimum. They're quite efficient.
