Thanks for the reply Bentley. Sorry that I did not see your earlier posts. I was going to try the dryer lint and then I had a second thought about it. I guess I will switch to using the reuseable type too.

Hi Steven – something I’ve mentioned in previous posts is that I don’t use those dryer sheets (have reusable ones with no chemicals on them) – you raise an important issue here though. In all honesty, I wouldn’t really recommend using lint from a dryer where disposable dryer sheets are used. I don’t know for sure that they are loaded with harmful chemicals or anything like that, but you never know what they might contain.

Is there any danger of “poisoning” your worms in using dryer lint? I have always thought that the addition of dryer sheets to the load of laundry would leave a residue of chemicals in the lint.
