I thought I&#039;d pop in here to take a stab at your question...I have had no mold issues at all with my worm bag. From a scientific perspective I&#039;m not sure why, but my guess is that the cotton of the jeans provides a sufficient breeding ground for mold where the synthetic nature of the Cordura does not, which is what the bags are made of. There may be a better explanation but I just know it has not been a problem at all. (Nor is there any odor associated with this.) I hope that helps somewhat.</description>
