the blade on your super duper worm food tool is too big if you cut it so it's about 3 or 4 inches across it might work without spinning the whole bucket. look at the blade on a hand held blender it's only about 2 inches and it grinds up food like soft butter.
just my two cents.

I too had a lot of frozen food waste in the freezer. We have been putting it in the blender (Vita Mix) with some water after defrosting it and mixing it with our well composted horse manure. It ends up being a liquid form obviously then poured over the horse manure and mix it in really well with gloves on. The herd LOVES it. There's egg shells, cabbage, carrot peelings, onion, spinach etc in there. However, their ABSOLUTE FAVORITE is the leftover sweet potato skins we throw in. They really go crazy over those. It's like a river of worm meat when we check on them later in the week. Gotta love them worms lol.

I wonder what would happen if you drilled a slot for a piece of re-bar or small PVC pipe to slide along the very bottom of the bucket....something that you could step on very easily but not big enough to hinder blending. Seems like it would not take much force to keep the bucket from spinning...just an idea.
(and i love that I get to confirm that I am not spam) :)
