I have a one gal bucket worm farm for about 5 mos. and I have noticed that every day there are small black deposits on the entire inside wall of the bucket. what is this and what should i do about it if anything? also i will be going away this winter for about 5 weeks and am concerned how to handle the food, bedding, etc. I currently use 2 one inch stripts of cotton cloth long enough to go from a bucket of water to the bedding material in the bucket. this s eems to keep the bucket contents moist enough so i do not have to keep a watering sustem. any suggestions for the 5 week period?
