I didn’t end up digging it up (had originally planned to, though). Will be interested to see what I find in there once spring arrives (IF it ever arrives – haha). Not sure if it would be necessary to empty every single growing season – and even just digging a lot of material right out of the bin itself every spring would probably be all you’d need to do.
