Hi Tom,
Which link are you referring to?
The New Alchemy Institute link takes you to a page where they explain that the site has moved, and provides you with a link to the new site. Unfortunately, you won't find the video featuring the system with the mushrooms, redworms, prawns etc etc - as mentioned in the post, I've never actually been able to track that one down again.
Here is a YouTube video about "Eco-Machines" (with John Todd) - not the same one but you may find it interesting anyway

Bentley,
I am very interested in the grain>mushroom>aquaponics>prawns bit. I followed the link you provided, but it has died. Any chance you can help me pick up the trail? (FYI I just bought 3 pounds of worms - I have been pre-composting grain waste for a couple of months, and am ready to add the "livestock").

thanks,
Tom

Great, Mary!
I see something has sprouted already in mine - although I'm still not sure if it's something I planted or something that was already in the bin.
:-)

Thanks very much for the order!

Okay Bentley, I took advantage of your free shipping sale on Euros and ordered two pounds to use for this worm bin/planter experiment. I'm excited! Better go get the bins ready. I'm watching a 2005 repeat of "Dirty Jobs" where they're featuring a Florida worm farm - getting in the mood!

I love this idea. I'm going to give it a try. I've got two long window box style planters in the basement under the lights with my other plants that I keep intending to plant some lettuce or something in. They're about 4' long and maybe 6" deep. I'm going to turn them into open worm bins/planters. Great way to expand my worms. Be sure and post if you have have any problems with yours. You'll be so far ahead of me that I'll be able to adjust!
