Thanks John!!
That is interesting re: the Worm Inn Mega - I definitely found the smaller Inn to dry out much more easily. But yeah there needed to be more info about that. I usually had them down in my basement so nothing like the dry (often outdoor) locations that many others were dealing with.
Like a plastic worm bin, a UWB could likely be totally neglected for basically months on end. You definitely couldn't do that with a Worm Inn.

As for zipper - it was mostly just the way I positioned the UWB, although once you've started harvesting there is likely the potential for it getting jammed with material. As mentioned in the post, I've just left the thing totally wide open. Should be interesting to see how much drier it gets like that!

Anyway - hope to share Steve's planned updates fairly soon!

It's always nice to read a real review of a new system. I hate reading all the reviews of all the different worm bins and somehow they are all amazing and nothing wrong with them. Then when you get it...you find out it's not perfect.

It reminds me of the Worm Inn. I loved it. Then a million people started talking about the worm inn mega, and so I upgraded to it. It has been one of the harder systems I have ever used in regards to keeping ideal moisture. I wish some people had mentioned that in the beginning.I would have been happier had I kept my regular worm inn.

I will probably be getting a UWB in the future, but thanks for confirming some of the things I thought other people were leaving out (like the zipper being an issue)
I can't wait to see the fixes he makes and how much better this system will be.
Maybe one day, I can be a tester and give my honest review too! :)
