Hey Patty
As often happens during the spring and summer season (with Worm Inns, indoor bins, and now UWBs), this system has become a bit of a “work horse” for my “real world” worm biz. I do plan to write an update before too long though – and yeah I should really attempt a harvest! Haven’t checked on drainage in a while – my hunch is that it’s not really leaking any more now that I am mainly using aged manure as the “food”.

Hey John – I should definitely end up adding a LOT to this system, but I don’t want to go too crazy until I get a better “feel” for how the system will respond. That experiment you refer to was completely insane (especially since regular Worm Inn being used)! Haha

But I still see some 10+ lb feedings in this system’s future! 😉

It would be nice to do a “how much can this handle” like you did with the Worm Inn. That was the series that sold me on the Worm Inn.
If I remember correctly, you were adding 10-15 pounds of scraps at a time.

If the zipper is not properly protected from the casting while harvesting it will become clogged in no time…! “Site Unseen”
