Liz - Hope the hubby is able to help out before too long! Maybe it could be a birthday gift or early Christmas present for you?! hehe
-----------
Meismeems - Interesting question! I have a sneaking suspicion that the black tubs I use would end up sticking out from the bottom shelf, but as far as width goes I'm pretty sure one would fit just fine down there. Will try to remember to measure one of them to find out for sure.

Very nice tutorial to make this bin, Bentley and Neil. I'm excited about starting up again after giving up using the Rubbermaid method, which produced mucky-muck and was gross.

I have one question....the bottom shelf for 'harvesting' the compost...is it big enough for one of those black bins that you use, Bentley? You know, the ones that are curved on two sides?? I'm hoping so, since I have a couple of them I'd like to make use of for this project.

Nice Q+A. I can't wait to get mine built. I have NO DIY skills so I am at the mercy of waiting on my husband to build it and he has yet to get excited about any of my worm projects. Darn.

I also like your Vermicomposting bag on your previous posts, all these new bins are making my mind race!

Keep 'em coming.
