Just after I set up my homemade mega inn I came in and read this the first time.

I have a "large" wooden worm bin outside for the summer where I move the two worm inn megas and one standard worm inn from overwintering in the basement to. As the bin became filled I sifted and moved some of the mostly finished compost into the worm inn as a finishing bin.

Today - 5 days after hanging the worm inn and filling it with chicken-wire sifted material - I poured a gallon or so of rain water over it and collected the run off which I then used to water some large veg containers.
