600th RWC Blog Post!

There’s a famous saying, “The journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step” – well, as I reflect back on the 600 blog posts that have been posted here since late 2006, I just can’t help but appreciate the wisdom in these words!

I often get overwhelmed when faced with any huge/extensive project, but as I’ve discovered, there is real magic in consistent “baby steps”!

Thanks everyone for all your wonderful feedback and support over the years. All those positive vibes have served as “fuel” to keep me plugging away! Interestingly enough, we just hit 5000 comments a matter of days ago as well!

I’m looking forward to hammering out another 400 posts, and beyond. It’s only going to get better from here!

He He! I just reached my 800th discussion the other day at vermicomposters. They haven’t seen nothing yet! You inspired me! Your stuff has a lot of work involved.Mine has to do with making the worms cooperate with photo ops and “Garbage Guru” Tunes. This much fun ought to be illegal! People like you will make sure it isn’t!

  1. Only 600? It took me 4 months to read this site 2 years ago, I think there are more than 600 (and the posts get better every day).

Yeah Mark,i wish he had one at the beginning where he saw that pile of redworms in the horse manure. He hollered”Oh Snap!” or something along those lines. But that was probably back before they had the internet.Remember those old video games like centipede and such? Bentley could have had one where the worms eat a garbage trail, then you work your way over to the Pacman screen and run those little ghosts off in that box in the middle of the screen, and use vc to plant a garden,so they don’t come back! No wonder i quit playing video games!

    🙂

  2. Here’s to 600 more.
